Hi guys,

Apologies in advance if this is not the right sub forum (mods feel free to move it).

I recently inherited this gun from my Grandpa, I believe it's an old shot gun.

Does anyone know more about it? Do you think it's worth much?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

The couple of guns I inherited from my grandfather, my Ithaca Model 37 and Mossberg .308 rifle are all I have to remember him by. I wouldn't consider selling them for any amount of money.

I'd hang on to irregardless of value if I were you.

from what iv read you can contact them and they will tell you what you need to know.
what i see on gun sites is that they are pretty expensive they also made big bore rifles i think. good thing to keep in the family!

Watson Brothers have been in the gun business since 1885.
The very best British gun makers were on Bond Street.
Watson only built guns to custom orders, so this is likely a British "Best" grade gun, worth thousands.

Thanks everyone for the replies! :)

I have a few more pictures. Do they reveal anything else about the gun? What can be determined through knowing the serial "5757"?

A high-end shotgun like that, in it's original case w/ label intact, & all those accessories...who knows?

The one thing that disturbs me is the stuff in the left-hand compartment that appears to be blond human hair, WTH?
