Whether it be a Makarov/Tokarev or not.. I have a CZ-82 and an FEG, and although I love them both, the CZ gets the nod as my fav. My CZ just got a set of Marschal grips and I will be duracoting it soon. When its all done it will look as good as it shoots.

What 9mm Maks do you alll have and how do you like them?

I have a CZ-82. Would love to ass Marschall grips to it and the 75b.

Neither a CZ nor a FEG is a Mak. Also, a Tokerev shoots 7.62x25.

CZ82 is one of the nicest shooters out there. Bought the wife a single stack SIG P232 SS .380 and she has almost gone back to the CZ82...

I have 2 CZ-82s and love them both.
What other gun offers 12 rd. mags, reliability, and a small size for carry for a tad over $200?
I refinished one and put grips from 'Designer Grips.com' on.

It is made in Slovakia, by Falco.

This is the model I have. I have this same holster for a number of pistols and can say that they work best on CZ pistols for some reason. http://www.falcoholsters.com/eshop/gun-holsters/belt-holsters/leather-holsters/84-comfortable-leather-belt-gun-holster-it-34.html

This holster works pretty good. I use them on private property where I openly carry a service pistol. My father uses one of these on a compact 1911 for concealed carry, so depending on your body type and dress, it may or may not be a concealable option. Otherwise, quality and retention are good. The slots are 1.5 inch and fit perfectly on my Beltman leather gunbelt.

Thanks for the info.
I can open carry, but prefer not to. With Winter coming on, it may be the perfect holster for wearing under a jacket.

I also carry a Ruger p89 in the Winter. It's a little harder to conceal in the Summer.

Thanks for the education Perky, I didn't know that.
Slamfire - that's a very nice looking pistol. Did you put it all back togther or have someone else do it. If you did it, was it difficutlt. Any advice about any pitfalls I should know about. I have two documents on how to tear these down for refinishing and one of them simiply states taking it to a gunsmith to put back together.

Videodon: SUPERB photos!

The Pistolet Makarova remains one of my favorite handguns. I have a couple non-import marked Soviet PMs, several Bulgarians, and several East German Maks. One of the EGs is a frequent carry piece.

In addition, I have one CZ 82 in 9x18, although I haven't fired it as much as the PMs.

No photos to share; they all went buh-bye when GunsNet imploded a few years ago and I just haven't found time to retake them.

I like my Russian - has Bulgarian import mark - so was sold as a Bulgy :) Good for me.

Great shooting guns and they make good carry guns too. Hornady makes a good defensive load with XTP's.

Missed your post somehow.
I reassembled them using the pictorial link I posted. The 1st time was a bitch, but after I figured out what I did wrong, the rest were a breeze.

I bought a CZ 82 earlier this year and it is currently my favorite pistol to shoot. I am thinking of getting one for my daughter as she really enjoys shooting it as well.

NOAH, great to see you posting again!
