While the article focuses on the CZ 83, the list actually includes various models to be no longer imported beginning in 2013.

I like the CZ's, not as much as the Sig's, but I'm sorry to see the 83 go...

Looks like their consolidating their compact options. Sorry to see the 83 go, but it was too big and expensive (mags) to be compete with budget compact .380's and too underpowered (.380) to compete with the wide range of 9s in it's size. (A few of which are other CZ offerings themselves)

Kind of a bummer, but they still sell some of their coolest stuff. Just not in as many...

:dammit: I'm sad to see that.

New CZ-83 pistols always made me feel confident in my ability to get spare parts for the 82. Not to mention 83 magazines!

I'm glad the only 75's that were cut were dual-tone or nickle. Phew!

Well that sux! the CZ-83 is the best .380 money can buy! Perfect size for the ladies, all steel construction, 13 round mags, easy to disassemble and clean, what's not to like about them?

Though I'd never own a .380 pistol, I am sad to see the 83 discontinued from import.
