Does anyone here tumble your brass to clean them?
I am in dire need of getting approx. 500-600 9mm cases cleaned before I reload them.

Hopefully someone will be willing to clean these for me. I have several lbs. of walnut hull medium that has never been used.
Give me a price for this service if you can do this for me.

Thanks.

I have one of these and have had it for many years with no problem.Although I rather use walnut media but this would get you going for a good price.

Thanks for the reply and link, but I'm not looking to invest in one at his time.
I'm in the process of replacing floors, windows and siding on the house and don't have the $$ to spare right now.

Still need someone to do this.

Ah.......a loooooooooong way from you.
I'm in Middle Tennessee.

If I can find a cheap used tumbler, I'll buy it.
I just remembered I have about 700 5.56 cases that need to be cleaned also.
So, it would be to my advantage to buy one on the cheap.

Sign up for HF's email specials and join their club if you want... $29 IIRC...

They put the five pound tumbler on special a couple times a year for $29.95.

Too bad you aren't closer, IIRC, I have three tumblers in the shop... Two at least. I also have the separator; kind of a large plastic "bingo cage" on an axle over a plastic pan. It recovers the media when you are finished.

Guess I won't need to clean your brass now, lol. It's all good. Like I said in PM, this is what I have and it's doing well so far.

This one at Midway is the cheapest I've found. But it is a mixed review product, some give it 5 stars and others give it 1. Clearly you get what you pay for. I see Midway doesn't have a vibratory case polisher with their name on it anymore. I have one since 1997, used it fairly hard. Sometimes I've run it for 10 hours off and on processing batch after batch of cases. 3,000 .223 cases I've done in two mega batches. I've polished pulled M72 match bullets, thousands of them for hours and hours to get the tar sealant off. It keeps on trucking. But I digress as what I own is not obtainable anymore.

Oh hey I see this one also by Frankford arsenal in 220 volt. One review says it has a European style plug. Plugs can be changed if you have a 220 outlet and it will cost you less to run it on 220. Most give it a 5 star rating and call it a Best Buy for the Money. Price is $51 bucks. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/213148/frankford-arsenal-quick-n-ez-case-tumbler-220-volt

Like I said above, I'm in the process of replacing floors, windows and siding on the house and don't have the $$ to spare right now.

After the house fix-up, I'll buy one. But until then, I'm having to rely on someone to do this.

Hey- don't know why this did't ocurr to me before - do you have a dishwasher? If so, put the brass into a vegie bag (mesh onion bag or similar) and put through a cycle in the DW - yes really. You'll have to rotate it to get the water out of all of the cases and then spread em out on a towel to dry but it works. It is actually a black powder cartridge cleaning trick but it'll fix up your smokeless cases too.

Yes, but I don't think SHE would appreciate me tying a mesh bag on her while she showers. :showerrz2cm8:
