Yeah, I'm thinking I'll get one. US stole my AK library in 2005 and although they gave the guns back they still have the books...and AK bb guns.

Is that a guess or have you seen these before?
Would you know the purpose of a set up like that?

No that is what it look's like, some Hollywood made up crap. I would guess they tried to make a Soviet Block AKM look like a Type-56 and welded a Sight Loop on top of it, or someone messed with the Movie Prop's. I doubt that is Factory Chicom IF the Rifle is, then it could have also been a local Modifacation.
