Sighting's have finally started to pick up around here.
All I've mostly heard about is disease, roadkill and poaching.

These were found in a field a few miles east of me

Yeah, it is too bad looks like some good genes could have been passed along with this pair.
Saw several bachelor groups this spring, all buddies till rut comes along.

thats an old white tail . bet he is 8 to 10 years old maybe older. nice rack though!!!

I have read that white tail can live up to 20 years, highly unlikely this big guy was over 10 years. Check his wallet and look at his ID.

He's been around a while for sure but even if they can get pretty old more than likely it will be taken sooner.
I'm guessing the guy that got him must have know his habits fairly well to get the sheds and the buck.
