It is Bulgarian not Russian. Arsenal is about the best of the AK's right now. I'd be more likely to step up to that price if it was one of their milled models.

No, that is a very high quality AK. Likely worth the asking price. I would just like the deal better if it was a milled...

For the money, the new SLR 101 is a sweet deal at approximately the same price. It is a debanned milled Bulgarian Arsenal Rifle. The older SLR 95 with the thumbhole stock is considered one of the premier AK's. I could kick myself for selling mine. I jumped on the SLR 101 when it came out. They will sell out before long and I would think that the debanned SLR 101 will be just as much a premium AK.
