1945 . BSA Shirley
All matching, except the mag . NON-import marked.
Everything is stamped properly and all the lightening cuts are there on the receiver and barrel and hollow bolt handle.
"0" bolt head too which means this one didnt see much work.
800m rear sight BUT, it seems to have been riveted to the 275 meter mark .

as for the rear sling swivel on the bottom this isn't the first rearsenaled gun I've had with one attached and the "Glossy" dip job they did to these.

not complaining for $300.


BUT, I have piles of brass/bullets/dies for this and my Bren BUT... no shell plate. :fighting0024:

Damn nice Enfield HK!!
I bought a No.5 back in 68 at Big-K for $69. Back then I didn't know bolt heads could be changed out to adjust the headspace.
After it started splitting cases, I threw it in Dad's pond. Still there as far as I know.l
