Need short mag for MAK-90

Anyone know of a source for a 5 or 10 round mag for a Norinco MAK-90 [stamped]? The 30 round mags make shooting off the bench a problem. Need to be American made.

Don't know about a source that is a commercial business. I think I have a couple of 5 rounders left that I won't be using as i sold all my 7.62x39 Ak's. PM me if you want me to take a look out in the garage. I can probably get you one for $12 bucks shipped.

I can't vouch for the AK mags from ProMag, but I know there pistol mags leave a lot to be desired, as in are really bad.

Too new to tell, and it would take one heck of a spring and some good lack of friction to function, but for the price it might be worth a try.

From what I understand, the original 100 round magazine was just a test item and the Soviets never put it into production. An American manufacturer decided to make some which I got a chance to handle at a gun show a bunch of years ago and was not impressed. I will stick with my Norinco drums.

Got them. Metal body. Floor plate and plastic follower fit well into my 30 rounders. Both American made..
