extra hole on reciever

Howdy boys, I got a koraynovich arms saiga conversion, and Ive noticed there seems to be an extra hole on bottom reciever by the handguards, anyone else have this on a converted saiga or know why it might be there? and what i should do about it lol heres link with picture I couldnt get it to upload on here some reason

The original version before conversion had the hole the for a screw/rivet to secure the lower plastic hand guard.
The wood hand guards do not need this screw.

well RATS I figured it was something like that, i wonder if i should get a plastic plug or something and put it in there, or just get someone to weld it someday, or just leave it be lol
