ok guys im working out a trade for these pistols
the top one is a Savage 1907 pocket pistol made in 1919 and the bottom one is a H&R sportsman .22.
im doing research on these and trying to find more info on these pistols.

Those Savages are cool little pistols. IIRC there's no screws in them, they go together like a Chinese puzzle. The grip panels slide in and are held there by friction. They are also easily damaged and a real PITA to replace if they break.

I liked the one I had but it had a bulged barrel. You couldn't see it looking down the barrel, you had to remove the slide to feel it. I sold it with full disclosure...

im more excited about the savage then the H&R.
i do like how the savage is put together. good idea he came up with

Yeah, Arthur Savage was a brilliant designer who was ahead of his time. I don't know if I'd put him in the same echelon as JMB but if I didn't, he'd only be a half step below...

I'm actually interested in the top break H&R. I have a friend whose father had one in his collection when he passed away. She said I would be first on the list to buy it when they get around to selling the items they don't want. I don't think they're particularly valuable, probably $200-250 in 90% condition.
