Personally I have this thing about slings on rifles I am not taking into the field. They do a nice job of tripping up other rifles and things in my safe when I try to remove anything with a sling on it. Great way to knock over a new rifle and put a dent into that beautiful wood.

Slings might be the only thing related to AKs and ARs that won't skyrocket in place unless they are listed as evil features by government officials who violate their oath of office and our rights. You should be able to find one.

Yeah, I know about slings - something in one of my safes has a dinger or two when slings got tangled.
ELC, that is a Chinese mag. Got 5 of them with the rifle and 5 Euros.

Glad you showed the serial number. The MS series were among the first Norinco 56S marked rifles and had the purplish/black bolt and carrier. Very few people have seen a 56S with a non-silver carrier.
