just bought a CZ-82 9x18 Marakov. I got one with an X rating and it shows very little wear. Any cautions re: ammo, cleaning (special stuff) ? I know how to take it down and I've been cleaning weapons forever, just wanted to know if anyone had any tricks.

Google is your friend.
Start by dropping the mag, clearing/racking the slide,
then pull the trigger guard down and lock to the side.
The slide can then slide forward and come off.

Nah, no tricks. Often they can be finicky in ammo they will feed. Many of them don't feed Hollow Points out of the magazine very well, they were designed for FMJ ammo. Polishing of the feed ramps is often done to allow for HP ammo to feed.

Buy mags if you can find them. They are a bit rare and aren't getting any more common.

I like Silver Bear ammo, although I bought my stash about five years ago and have read some negative reports about current silver bear ammo.

Oh and mine loves hollow points, although I recomend you load FMJ rounds during the winter to ensure penetration of winter clothing.
