that is what MATTERS, after all. anyone can get the hits, if they have long enough to try, it's just a quesstion of how many shots are required! :-) Is it cause you are scared to find out how slow you are? you don't want to do the dryfire work to safely build speed, or what? you can do this with airsoft, you know, in your bedroom, ferchrissakes. t/here's no reason not to be superfast, really, and that speed of draw is many times more likely to be of use to you than the ability to shoot small groups with a pistol. Much, much more trouble (range trips, or building your own indoor range) and expense to shoot those groups, too. so why bother with that, when the draw and rapidfire practice is easier, cheaper, safe, and more likely to be of real value to you?

if you can't get the hits, in the time limit, with Airsoft, then you can't do it with .22lr, and if you can't do it with .22, then you surely can't do it with a centerfire. Even game wont give you all day, animals move, there's brush in the way,e tc. If it's about defensive ability, every 1/4 second longer you take than a master needs to get the hit, is another shot that EACH enemy gets to take at you!

Not sure what is causing this rant, but if you want to do a timed competion, feel free. Give the parameters, distance for target, type of target, time frame, caliber or type of handgun to be used, and length of the challenge and see who shoots.

Go to a three gun comp. Pistol, rifle, shotgun, everything is timed running from one station to the next.

I'll bet everybody on this site can beat nikko shooting slow or fast. He'd probably mess his panties if he shot a real gun.
