Online Firearm Sales Resume

Consumer reaction to the political rhetoric after the shooting in CT caused a rush of online orders at Cheaper Than Dirt! which led to the largest backlog in the company's history. Firearm sales will resume on a limited basis. The selection will increase as more firearms become available.

Fuck em.

No matter what the real reason is for their having shut down online sales, they came out and said they were reexamining their sales policy for safety concerns in light of the shooting. What that boils down to is that they allowed the blame for the shooting to be put on the American gun owner in exchange for some small amount of PR, which obviously didn't pan out.

They sold us out for nothing, so yeah, fuck em.

Yea I'm done with CTD! I bought a 640rnd spam can of 7.62x39 tulammo for $127 a while ago
They jacked the prices up so I went to a different seller. CTD tried to screw me on price "after"
I had the order in"! They called me and told me that the ammo had the wrong price on the
order screen! Yea right! They wanted to sell it to me with a 25% markup. I told them to
cancel my order, and that I won't be doing business with them again. They can kiss my ass!

Cheaper than dirt can go fuck themselves. They have not seen a dime of my money since the last time they spiked their prices in 08.

Me either, that $20 box of wolf 7.62x39 was the icing on the cake. Am I wrong? They did have 20rd boxes for $20 right? Even if it was less, I know it was rediculous.

Only past listing still not yet removed for Lake City XM855 bulk, 420 round box for $196.35.
That's $0.47 rounded up. Still kind of pricey but ok...Out of stock of course.

Current listing for Lake City XM855 bulk, 300 round box for $399.79.
That's $1.34 rounded up. Currently available in the warehouse of course.

Yeaaaah....they can shove those bullets in the dark place where no bore cleaner has ever gone.

A year ago a 1000 round case was about as much as their current 300 case.
It aint nice to piss on my leg and then try to tell me it's raining.

I mean...seriously?...$34.59 for a 20 round box of freakin 5.56?

I don't blame them for increasing prices due to heightened demand; this is fundamental economics. Their actions regarding online sales of guns bothers me much more. They reversed their decision quickly, but I still have mixed feelings about it. I think we should be willing to forgive, but it certainly damages my perception of them. I'll continue to buy from them if the price is to my liking, but I'm inclined to look elsewhere first.

Only bought from them once!

Thought CTD meant their prices, but actually referred to the quality of the product I bought.

Screw thos rat bastards, anyone who so quickly price gouges people in hard times, deserves to rot in the dirt.

Have not given them any of my money and will refuse to do so and will encourage others to do the same.

The last time that I tried to order from them, was for .303. They had a great price, but after waiting and waiting and waiting. I gave up. They were always out of stock.
