Super sniper 16x42 rear focus, nothing special but for the cost they are some great scopes.
They are 300 bucks, and worth every penny.
SWFA.com has alot of info on them...
Ive got three of them, and love em for the cheap reliable scopes they are.
They do work better with spray paint on them though!

What range do you intend this rifle to perform for you?

I shoot starting at 100 up to around 650.
I can shoot as far as I want, but Ive RF'd and set targets at 650.
I shoot farther, but I like to hit, as ammo for my 700s is expensive, and just throwing rounds into the open desert costs money.
So I tend to throw cheaper ammo at longer tha 650, and thus they arent as accurate.
I am going to try to start reaching though since Ive gotten comfortable as of late.
The only difference I have found from my 26 inch PSS to my 20 inch LTR is muzzle flip.
This one should be interesting to see what she does as it obvously doenst have a brake like the LTR posted above.

Uber, is this chambered 308? How bad is the factory stock on the SPS?

Yup, 308...

Well, Ive heard nothing but bad things about the stock, stock.
I was going to do my own testing on it, then the rifle sickness got the best of me and I just went with a new B/C tactical medalist. Its my favorite stock for the cost..
There are tons of write ups though that go on and on about the stock being fine unless it has a bipod or the rifle is rested on it.
I do know that the hogue is not built well, not even close to the B/C

Depending on what the rifle likes, you may find a particular mil-surp will work surprisingly well.

Its all about getting comfortable. Add practice and knowing the rifle and ammunition. Learning to read the wind is challenging. I enjoy long range shooting.

Less MV also.

Well, that is a problem. I figured 308. I'm thinking of putting together another deer rifle, but I'll probably go 270 for a little less recoil. Man, I sure like the looks of that camo number of yours. I need to look into the scope you're using, that a lot fewer bones than the Leupold I've been contemplating and I'm not made of money.

Some might not agree, but for hunting, and plinking, the supersniper scopes are one hell of a deal. I bought my first one years ago, and I have yet to find another scope that even comes close to the quality at that price. Tough as nails as well.
