Will it harm the mag spring to leave 3 rds in it over a period of time?
I sometimes need the rifle to shoot coyotes fast. No time to load the mag and get a shot off.

No, it will not hurt it, but is that really your best rifle for yotes?

Nope. Got a Stevens 200 223.
I just like shooting them close range (100 yds max)with the Mosin.

At the very start of the movie remember the horse tied and the wolf coming in for the kill. I was referring this to the coyote he is much smaller but yet a killing machine.

That does look cool! Did you shorten the barrel or is it a 39?

Cut to 20" and crowned. Makes for better handling in the field.
