Idiot O'Malley just got back from a meeting with Bloomberg (that should tell you tons right there) and promises new, draconian guns laws for MD.

My reply to that article:
Oh yeah. Someone commits a heinous crime and our "all-knowing" governor attacks the law-abiding citizens of his state. (The fox raids the henhouse and the farmer beats the chickens...makes sense to me...). Our governor needs to be voted out of office, along with all the other socialists,Communists who think the way he does. Oh, by the way, Governor, the 2nd Amendment IS NOT about hunting and sportsmen. You swore to uphold and defend the Constitution, but you lied about that, right? If you want to take meaningful steps to prevent things like Sandy Hook from happening here, look no farther than Texas. They're serious about protecting their kids, unlike MD. Gun Free school Zones are Gun Free Victim Zones. Nothing like advertizing that to those who would do us harm. Smart, very smart.

I've been reading the comments on every news feed I can find and it seems like 99% of the commenters are against this, even on lefty websites. So much for "for the people, by the people"

I think even though we're not going to see many new Federal restrictions, a lot of urban states are going to do shit on their own at the state-level.

You can probably kiss New England and California good-bye.

(At least until/unless the courts intervene...)

Even GOP hero and New Jersey governor Chris Christie is talking about cracking down on the Second Amendment...
