Yep. But I'd almost call Linn Co a swing county. Lane and Benton are big college areas- U of O and OSU respectively and Multnomah is Portland. Don't expect much from those counties. Otherwise most of the state is quite conservative.

Nope. Portland is in Multnomah county. Don't expect the Sherrif or any other public entity to take a stand for anything other than their own public image around here.

A prime example of most of a state being conservative but controlled by one or two pockets of sewage. (Portland-Eugene)
