Soft point ammunition feeding problems

Have any of you experienced any feeding issues by using anything other then FMJ in your Semi auto pistols or rifles?

Thinking specifically my Inglis Hi-power. I have never fired anything other then Federal FMJ ammo.

Before I start buying hollow points or soft points what is your piece?

Not really, but my carry guns are all Sig and they feed HP out of the box. I use FMJ in about every other pistol...

I have a 1950's Belgin High Power and it has no issues with 124 gr. Speer Gold Dot +P ammo.
