*SOLD!* MARLIN 444 CENTERFIRE LEVER ACTION RIFLE
Selling one lightly-used Marlin 444S Lever-Action Rifle. Ideal for large game and bear protection. Extremely rare, and no longer produced. Located in Reno, NV. Asking $700 face to face, or add shipping to your FFL.
Includes: Simmons 4x32 long-relief scope, Lever Scout Mount, Ghost ring sights, All-black furniture, heavy-duty leather sling with ammunition carriers.
Aftermarket stock and foregrip. First two of serial are "23". This is the 444S (Sporter), making it second generation (after original 444, and before 444SS). These were made from 1971-1983. The forearm retainer on this rifle was introduced in 1976, so this would be of 76-83 production.
There are 80 rounds of big-game ammunition with new/unfired Remington brass cases:
53x Remington Express jacketed soft point 240GR
20x Cor-Bon Hunter Penetrator inter-bullet 305GR
5x Hornady SuperPerformance soft flat nose 265GR
2x Hornady XTP hollow-point 265GR
Based on market prices, this lot of ammo is worth over $220. I will sell the lot separately for $120, or an additional $60 if purchased with the rifle.
