Anyone keep a blade or two in their truck/car for emergency use? Even though I always EDC a folder and often times a pocket knife I also like to keep a blade or two in my truck. At the moment I have a Buck Goliath and my Leatherman SuperTool 300. Thinking I might swap out the Goliath for a fixed blade. Either one of my Buck Nighthawks or a Becker BK2. Anyone else?

I have a variety of multitools in each vehicle. I carry a machete or 14"+ knife anytime I drive the woods...

Something for brush clearing might not be a bad idea. My BK2 can handle quite a bit but one of my kuhkri or perhaps a hatchet might be a just the thing for clearing limbs or small trees off the roadway. Plus the hatchet would make processing firewood easier as well as serve limited duty as a hammer if needed.

I don't have a car/truck, just a motorcycle. My current bike knife is one of these. (http://www.coldsteel.com/Product/17T/KOBUN.aspx)

The Schrade machete, even though made in China, seems to be good steel (Japanese?, American?). It holds an edge good and can be had for +/-$27....
