I just sent the following email to Remington. Customers of firearms related businesses need to urge companies to vote with their feet, e.g., as Ruger did when they moved to AZ.

Given the recent New York legislation targeting law abiding gun owners, Remington should immediately announce that all manufacturing, operations, and jobs will be moved to a state that supports the Second Amendment. This action would protect your business and send a message to politicians in other states.

They could do like Briggs & Stratton did here in MO move a plant from Milwaukee where union workers got $15/hr + benefits as opposed to paying $7.50/hr and no benefits plus they got a building with free utilities and no taxes IIRC for 7 years . . at the end of the 7 years they claimed couldn't make a profit and moved the operation to Mexico

We all know that is BS as far as not making a profit ... unless the defect rate went through the roof on their small motors. I doubt that as Mexican's aren't known for their ability to really do things right, just cheap.

This of course is off toipc as the topic was about Gun Makers should get the hell out of Gun unfriendly states. To that premis I heartily agree! Come to GA, TN, NC, SC ... get the frig out of New (Socialist) England.
