I was talking (complaining) to my wife a couple of nights ago. I was telling her that when we transfer I was thinking it would be good to change our Voter's Registration to a different county. She asked me why I would want to do this and I told her that I was tired of my Senators and Represenatives not listening to me. She was silent for a moment and then said that she didn't think it was a good idea. I asked why and she tells me that it does not matter so much if the politicians listen to my phone calls or read my e-mails. In fact, she doubted that the Congress people even see them. But the staff does, and they are not necessarily so entrenched in their beliefs. By my presenting logical arguments I may affect their thinking. Based on that, even though I would rather be in a more conservative district, I guess I will stay where we are. Bother.
