So after 2014 my AK in it's current condition will be an "assault" rifle. The way the law is
written you can only have one evil feature, bayo lug, flash hider, foward pistol grip,
rear pistol grip, folding stock, collapsable stock, detachable magazine, heat shield. Right
now I have two evil features, a detachable magazine and a rear pistol grip, since I can't
do anything about the magazines I will have to work on eliminating the pistol grip. I plan
on trying to make a wood stock that incorporates a piece of wood that extends up to the
trigger guard like a fudd gun. Oh yea, no thumbhole stocks either. If anyone has any ideas
please let me know.

Not an AK, but this California option might give you some ideas...

Any Ideas, yes. 1. Do nothing and tell them to go fuck themselves. 2. Move to PA. Why, because you'll also be restricted to 7 pissant round mag capacity. Better hope no more than 1 person attacks once you've castrated your mags, 7 rounds don't last very long. Rather than screw your stuff up, get to a free state.

Well I'm just playing around with ideas right now. I don't think giving up is the answer until
these dumb ass laws go through the courts. My lease is up in May and I do have a daughter
that lives in Vermont. I was down in Austin for a weekend a while back, really liked the town.
I'm retired and can move anywhere, we'll see how things progress by May.
