I saw this when it came out in the theaters when I was a kid. Had nightmares for weeks.

I remember one where I was with my brother and the monster came after us - I couldn't run fast enough - my legs wouldn't work right!!! The monster caught me and bit my stomache off and I woke up. :wow:

Me too, saw it at the drive-in theater in Phillipsburg KS. Believe it or not, I own this on DVD. I bought it to show my wife and kids because they had no idea what it was. It's for me, one of the funniest movies ever made. :)

Yep, what scared the heck out of me, they just laugh at. But then they aren't growing up in rural Nebraska with two TV channels. :)

Hell, I grew up in suburb St. Louis - we had three locals and two UHF channels! Woohoo!

I remember when the first video games came out - "pong". It was too expensive for my folks but I had a rich friend who got one for Christmas. After that, Asteroids!! :)

We'd watch Ultraman on the toob (one of the UHF channels) and play asteroids.

Whatever happened to the good old Saturday afternoon Japaneese Monster Movies? Godzillia, Mothra, Rodan ect. They were a great way to spend a crappy afternoon inside.

When I grew up rural Maryland didn't have that many; lol..

When we wanted to get "creepy" feelings; we'd walk around Antietam battlefield at night.

That reminded me of a good man; once Zou told me a lot of history buffs who visit battlefields get that same creeped out feeling.

I'll bet it was even creepier after the battle.

Is it Antietam where that ghoul or whatever it is "Old Green Eye's" haunts?
