Price Check - South African R4 Sling

Got a South African R4 sling for the FAL and Galil family of SA rifles. Just a bit wide for me. Almost new condition. Looks like the second sling from the top with the wide ends in the attached pic just under the L1A1 sling. Mine is in much better condition. What are they worth?

Stick it on GB and mention galil, if a cleaning kit will go for $120 a sling should bring good money.

R4 items/accessories are pretty rare here in the States....


It should bring ya a couple of bucks at least.

I may have to put it on an auction site. I asked this same question at FAL Files and got slammed with PM's to sell it. Must be getting scarce.

Seriously you got have an idea of worth, what do you think it's worth at a minimum?

Actually... I didn't have any idea of what it is worth now. I gave $40 for it 2 years ago and that was below what I was seeing them sell for then. The few I have found, I have seen from $50 to $60 and they didn't last long on the market.

Tell me about it. I bought it 'cause I was going to go with a Rhodesian build but went a different direction. Hated paying that much for a piece of canvas.
