Polytech safety lever and mag release lever??????

The safety lever and mag release on my double folder is smooth as butter. Not so with my fixed stock spiker and bakelite sidefolder.

My question is: How can I get the safety lever and mag release lever butter smooth?
Oil? Take it apart? Any help?

One more than a couple of my AK variants I have had to bend the safety lever. I bent it out just a very little bit at a time to make it less tight against the receiver.

As for the mag release, if it is tight on all mags, if it is dragging on the mag you can file a very little bit off the top to smooth it out. If it is hard to move with no mag installed I would just oil it up and work it by hand a few dozen times to loosen it up a bit.
