Anyone tried the "Russian Match" AIM and some others are selling? I bought some a the "sniper" 7.62x54r some years back but don't have any info on this stuff?

7N1 was what I had, still have some. I believe this is different. Here is the 7N1. Packaging is different then what AIM is showing

Also the 7N1 is a 152gr bullet. The Match AIM has is listed as 182gr

Ive never heard of this then. What other com bloc was this for then.?


Edit: I thought it was a buck around. Not a bad price at .53 cents a round

No, that was the 7N1 sniper round. This is different.

i want to get a box or 2 for the collection of this stuff

i still have the full tin of the 7N1 stuff

that stuff is expencive now days

I looked at it, but most of my semi-autos use +/-150 grain and I thought the 182 grain might be too heavy... Is this the ammo for those match bolt rifles the Centerfire and others were selling?

i think there was 3 different ones match,targer and one other i dont remember off the top of my head

Most Mosin rifles will shoot the heavier bullets a little more accurately. I am considering buying some of this for use in my Tokarev, as I understand it, the SVT40 really shines with the heavier bullets. The brass cases and "target" designation suggest perhaps it was built for 300 meter shooting in the day, a sport at which the Soviet Union excelled.
