7mm Spanish Mauser Ammo question?

I bought a Spanish M93 Mauser in 7x57 or 7mm mauser and also got
about 200 rounds of 7mm Rem mag with it. I didn't notice the difference
in the rounds until I thought about shooting it. The dimensions are very
close between 5x57 and rem mag but just enough to make me ask the
question; Can I use the 7mm rem mag in the mauser chambered for 7x57?
