have you bought anything from them? Hard to imagine a multi-tool for 12 bucks being very good? Lots of very nice looking knives too.

Is it all knock-off stuff or is it the real deal with the middlemen cut out? The knives are all super low-cost compared to MSRP.

Call me paranoid but isn't anyone else a bit leery of the low prices? No such thing as a free lunch & all...

a buddy of mine used to buy electronics and gadgets, and even gun accessories direct from China and pay pennies on the dollar for the same crap we would buy here, just minus the name the US companies would put on them.

i buy cell phone stuff like batteries direct from china. why pay $50+ for a new battery when you can get 'em for $6-10?

A bunch of these companies are popping up these days.
Its all made in China, you are just buying it direct.

They have a few Gerber knives for less than what the Gerber web site sells them for.
just make sure to check ebay first on price. There were a few things that I saw on ebay for less, those were also from China.

Fuck China! Spending money with them is giving China the money to fuel it's eventual attack. I do not willingly buy anything Chinese IF there's any alternative made anywhere else. On steel, Chinese Steel is like butter, real crap, soft.

They have however, found some Lenovo laptops (formerly HP Thinkpads) that were preloaded with not only malware but one or more "trojans" designed to steal info.

i just get my cheap chinese crap from ebay.

If you look hard enough you can find good stuff on the real cheap.

For example last year i bought some new (or refurb cant tell) motorola Professional walky talkies that are real good quality, the big security guard ones (used them this hunting season) for $40 each. Shipped out of china in a big brown stinky envelope.

three weeks ago i bought 2 AAA rechargeable NIMH batts for $2 shipped. got them and they work

I dont know how they even do it.

i buy cheap shit from china all the time. usually because its too much cheaper to pass up.

i buy a lot of electronic components. there are examples where i can buy something from the us for $.40 ea, or china for $.35 ea. in which case ill buy us. $5 per hundred is an acceptable loss to deal with a us company to me. looking for something last night (breakable female header pin strips) i found them from china for $.26 ea, or from the us for $1.50 ea. guess where theyre coming from? $26 for 100 pcs or $150 for 100pcs. no contest.

one thing that really gets me is shipping. i can routinely find products as cheap or cheaper from china that ship free or for under $2, where anything from the us has a shipping price of $4 or more attached to it.

im ll for supporting us businesses, but im not in the charity business either. in the end, my allegiances lie with my pocketbook.

Imagine chips built into each pc that at a certain time on a certain day they all went haywire. And then an attack followed while all pcs and networks were down. Don't say it can't happen because it can. Or usb sticks that end up being purchased by US forces with malware preinstalled, just like what happened in Iraq.
