View Full Version : Fluid dynamics and slow motion photography

I've always enjoyed slow motion photography, in particular films of objects at high velocity, such as bullets or liquid droplets.


Water in particular I find most appealing, the smoothness of the transitions, the wave formations, the interplay of light and color.


So when I happened upon this particular piece of film I naturally found it quite fascinating to behold.

With this in mind I thought I might share it with you all...

Gee when I read "Fluid dynamics and slow motion photography" I thought it was going to be something like a 10,000 frames per second film of a rocket engine plume.
