Hi all,

I was trying to load a clip with bullets for my SKS. I was only going to load 7 bullets, but I can't even get one to stay in.

Anyone have any ideas? See pic below. Thanks!

you gotta put it over your shoulder to keep them in.

turn the bullet around and stick the pointy end in the groove. that might help.

You've got the stripper clip upside down.

I noticed also that you are putting the bullet in with your left hand...are those left handed stripper clips? It should have a little L on it, which in Cyrillic looks like this Л.

Aren't you suppose to crimp it into the cannalure to keep it in place?

Besides, the stripper clips you are using are for storing your empty brass. You need the strips with the holes drilled in them so you can insert the bullets so that you can crimp them at the cannalure.

I put the camera on a tripod, set the 10 second "self portrait" timer and then gave the camera a reach-around.
