Shortages resulting from an unprecedented demand for ammunition (http://www.examiner.com/topic/ammunition) by federal agencies and the civilian market are causing some police departments to look at cutting back training, KCENTV reported Thursday (http://www.kcentv.com/story/21823556/ammunition-shortage-hits-police-departments).

"Depending on what happens with the supply shortage, we may have to start cutting back somewhere," said Sgt. Patrick Swanton of the Waco Police department told reporter Amanda Kenney.

IF they really are.

Haven't heard anything about this from NRA, GOA CCRKBA, SAF etc. If there's any triuth to this, you'd would think they would be on this like white on rice.
