Original Yugo AK wood finish?

Just trying to find out what the original finish on the Yugo AKs was...trying to be as true to restoration as possible...lol...
I've heard that on the SKS's it was tung oil, but don't know...
anyone have any ideas?

The wood was dipped in Boiled linseed oil. For your purposes, it will be far more sensible to rub it in.
