Considering the standard rifle is $1500, and this rifle looks like the only difference is the longer barrel and different stock, I would hope it is not much more than $1700. The cheek rest and scope are extra cost options.

I like that it is 7.62x39 and uses standard AK mags, but that in itself would be a reason to keep the price out of true Soviet TIGR territory.

Iraq bought PSLs and Dragunovs for that role. They ended up building their own Drags IIRC. These filled a lessor roll, but it seems the troops liked them...

Well, recoil and muzzle blast wouldn't be like the 54R. And to have more than 10 rounds is nice. Guessing these are more accurate than an AK? Seems like the main difference is just a longer barrel. I'd still take my AK and Drag over one, just sayin.
