CNC Warrior Milled Receiver

I have never built a AK and want to buy a receiver before the state of CA takes that right away from me. I was looking at CNC Warriors milled receivers. What are the differences between the Russian and the Yugo receivers? What kit could i use to build a Yugo? Can i build the receiver out of US parts like a AR? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need a milled Yugo kit to go on the CNC Warrior receivers. There are a few milled underfolder kits for sale on the AK Files right now for a decent price. You will still need to source a barrel, which is not difficult. Yugo takeoffs are all over the place. CNC is out of underfolder receivers but you can buy a fixed stock receiver and just pick up a buttstock. No difference between the fixed/underfolder kits.

If you want to go with the Russian pattern, Bulgarian milled kits will work and are out there. You can source a new barrel from K-VAR (pricey).
