Good looking stogie with a really nice band on it.

I have been wondering about this cigar since opening my care package from CigarGuy.
Everything about it, the appearance, the feel of the wrapper and especially its smell just scream serious ass cigar!

So, I finally gathered up the nerve and decided to give it a try....

Well, at the outset it's obvious that its well constructed. Perfect draw and no burn issues.
But hey, this thing is strong! First few puffs are pepper, earth and wood. Really got to watch the throttle on this bad boy.

Everything is going along pretty well. Every once in awhile I catch a hint of coffee and something like dark unsweetened bakers chocolate, which is cool I like those flavors. Then it's back to the earthy pepper!

About half way through I kinda thought it was mellowing out a bit. But as soon as that thought entered my head and I took a bigger drag on it, BANG! Pepper blast! Caught me off guard and about choked me!

Obviously I backed off some and proceeded from there with caution. It was going well till I got to the final 4th of it, then it turned on the jets and got much stronger than it had already been.

It just crushed me.

At this point I put it down. I had fought a brave fight, but sometimes, the bull wins!
This is possibly the strongest cigar I've smoked to date. Wow! ;)

I KNEW we were in trouble when you tasted the "pepper and wood".
Enjoyed the pictures, though!

Hey, it had it's moments. I just appreciate getting to try it. :)

It had a couple years on it, too. Padilla has been all over the place with manufacturers. Don't know who made that for him.
