Sad news today.

My ex sent me a text today informing me her mother passed away.

Her mother succumbed to cancer,she was only diagnosed a couple of months ago after suffering with the pain for two and half years.

I did not expect her to go so fast.Her last words to me was you are a good father to your kids.

We never were best of friends nor did we get along all that well.I held my tongue out of respect for her.

My ex and I are still friends and get along better now than we did when we lived with each other.It pained me so much to hear her in tears over the phone when I called her.

I had to break the news to my kids and damn that was hard....I'm having a drink right now.

I think I'm taking this harder than the ex is.We are going to cremate her and then spread her ashes in Tennessee where she was born.

Very sorry for your loss. Some shit is never easy.

My wife's mother is dying fast...and it is very hard to deal with, due to the fact she's fuckin borderline psychotic, and my wife will always be scarred in the head because of her.
