This was another gift cigar. Few things are better than a great smoke you didn't have to pay for. :naughty:

These come in at 5.3" x 52. Since I nubbed it, I got about an hour and a half out of it. I paired this stick with a few Amstels and perhaps a bit of Buffalo Trace.

I wasn't sure what to expect out of this cigar. I had only smoked one previously and that was some time ago. Really all I remembered of the earlier stick was that it was good.

This started out with a bit of pepper and leather, but the pepper quickly evolved into a milder/sweeter spice note. Very early on I was getting some great coffee and chocolate flavors mixed in with a floral taste that I can only describe as tasting like roses smell. :confused1: The two constant flavors were the chocolate and coffee, plus the fact that it was a pretty sweet tasting smoke which I really like. All other noticed flavors, cedar, floral, pepper and of course tobacco came and went and then would return for another showing. As this burned it did intensify some and there was certainly no lack of nicotine present, but it never got harsh and no negative qualities. It burned well, had a great draw and of course, as said, tasted damn good! I wouldn't mind having a box of these.

These are not a cheap cigar, it looks like they run $8 to $9 a piece. But!, I still think they are a decent value. They last roughly 90 minutes, have excellent construction and taste as good as a cigar really can.

Oh, I smoked this bad boy this past Tuesday, when we were down at Sam A. Baker SP. Beautiful location to imbibe in ones vices. ;)

Very nice.

It was. This one came from a 2008 box. I'm sure a little time helped it but I'd still like to find out how they smoke young.

Ya know if a guy could justify dropping say $20,000 on smokes at one time, you could age these things the way the experts claim you should. But alas, I don't see that happening any time soon. ;)

Check out Tampa Humidor. They started out as just a humi company years ago, and now have a big on line
presence including cigars. As long as it's cedar lined(I think they all are?) and has a tight seal, the rest
is all aesthetics.
