I had been wanting to try one of the less expensive Padron offerings and decided to start with this one.
It's a good sized stick listed at 7.5" x 50. By looking at it, I would have guessed something closer to a 46 ring size, but whatever.

This one started off surprisingly mild. For the first 3rd all I could taste was dry red cedar.

This cigar was obviously well constructed, the draw was perfect and it had no real burn issues.
That said, the first half of this was pretty boring, no real strength and very little flavor. Odd really.
At about the half way point I did start noticing some coffee flavor and just the lightest hint of spice. About 3/4 in it started to pick up in strength some and something similar to bakers chocolate developed. This was nice, for a short while because soon after that it started getting hot and bitter and I pitched it. Regrettably I was pretty disappointed in this smoke. It was blander than I had expected and at about the point it started to get tasty, the wheels came off.
I bought a fiver of these from Famous for $36.00, or $7.20 per. At that cost, if this one cigar is indicative of what these are, no freaking way.
