The wife thinks she got me two sports shirts and a card for Fathers Day. Pffffttttt..........what she really got me was a box of 25 of these beauties! :rotflmbao:
These torpedo's are a decent 5.5" x 52. I'm telling you these things have the most intoxicating aroma pre-light, just wow!
Unlike my recent treats, the Cohiba, Montecristo and H. Upmann, these are considerably different from those smokes. The strength and flavor isn't the same and the whole experience is different. These pack more of a punch both in nicotine and in body. They are in no way harsh, but a breakfast stick it ain't. ;)
From the first puff theres spice, leather and cedar. The spice is a hard to describe cross between pepper and baking spice. Its not over powering tho and I like it. Between the nicotine and the spice it does a number on both your lips and your tongue. Good thing you taste cigars with the nose. As long as you don't get greedy this won't hurt you, try to hard and well......
This is probably the hardest cigar to describe that I've attempted thus far. Its the strongest Cuban I've smoked, but yet theres no hint of burning tire or dried corpse. :rotflmbao: Its just damned good.
This IMO, is the perfect after dinner cigar with a glass of whiskey. This would marry perfectly with a glass of Bakers Bourbon. Both are strong, yet sophisticated and just sweet enough to make you enjoy their strength.
In short, these are great cigars!
