I uh, bought a sampler of these when I got the Padron's. I had kind of forgot I had them, but noticed them in the lesser used of my larger humidor's this morning when doing some rummaging about.

This is a good sized stick at 7" x 52. Dark brown, oily wrapper, with an attractive band.

This is the first V I've smoked. I was anticipating some strength, I just hoped it wasn't a man eater like the Master Blend 3, or the Padillia Miami. (no offense CG). ;)

Well, at the light it proves to be quite strong, an early morning smoke this ain't. Initially its pretty peppery with lots of wood and earth. In fact, at first I was wondering if I'd see the halfway point before letting it go out. Luckily for me after about an inch and a half the flavor improved. It started giving off some nice coffee and spice notes. The spice while still pretty peppery also had touches of cinnamon and even clove. The clove bit I think is a new experience for me.

As this thing progressed the coffee flavor got more prominent and it developed a nice sweet tobacco taste too.

It's still strong as hell tho. Puff on this too hard and it'll hurt your ass! :smiley10:

All in all this is a pretty decent smoke, especially if you like them full on. Fairly decent value at around $8.50 per.

In closing let me mention that this IMO is a stick best enjoyed after dinner with a strong drink. :)

Nice review, Jeffy. I like those a lot but they are all too big for me. Even the
"Robusto's" is,what, a 54?

Yep, 5" x 54.

I would think the Diadema would work for you at 6" x 46.

Haven't seen that one! Thanks! Yep. 6" is as long as I like, and under 48.
(This is not the Roadhouse, so DON'T go there!)

I'll uh, put one of these in the box pass box. You spoke up first so I had intended to send it your way first. Then I think sending it to Chicago would make sense. :cigarsmoking:
