Are the Low cap bulgarians that Centerfire is selling worth buying for $350 quality wise? Do they take the Romanian Lo-cap mags or do they take their own design? Any info appreciated, thanks Allamerican.

$ 350 is a great price, but you are stuck with a 10 rds AK.

I haven't seen the lo-cap magazine for these.

I have the SSR-85C-2, it is the same gun when imported into the US.

Then, the importer opened up the receiver, and added a feed ramp (for regular 30 rds mag)

, they also added stock + pistol grip......they also added about $250 to the price.

These seem like good rifles. Some had 1 mm receivers, while others had 1.6. They are AK47 parts (heavy barrel) on a stamped receiver. As far as I know, the parts are new. Open up the mag well, add a bullet guide (if needed), and change parts as wanted. Some Romanian lo-cap mags will fit (I don't know about Hungarian lo-caps), but you need to try them, before you buy them. These seem to be one of the better bargins around.

I saw two used ISD/Global Trades AK's on GunBroker last week, one sold for $430, the other for $456. It is worth shopping, magazines make or break a deal for me. If you can't afford magazines... what is the weapon really worth? Spare parts availability also is a 'Y' factor IMO.

Looking at my Iphone right now GBroker has a CIA WASR w/bayonet, lug, (2) 30 rnd mags, NIB for $499, Auction # 247848184. I wouldn't buy lo-cap with these prices on 'regular' AK's
