As you that are familiar with me already know, I occasionally make videos of my range trips - especially when I get a new firearm - here's another one:

I really like the smith automatics and might start collecting them.
How was the double action trigger pull?

The DA trigger is very good = though, I will say that for double taps, the single action rules. I am discovering that the DA's are better shot deliberately one at a time - unless the target is closer - like 7 yards, then double taps are fine.
The pull is smooth and it breaks cleanly and its not too heavy - maybe 8 lbs?
And sometimes my vids get looked at thousands of times and so I figure, why not see if I can gather up some more members here? :D

Nice but less talk more shooting, more targets, I know you got the gun and you like to shoot now post them here.

Use the target link above to print out your targets
Any 1911 style gun shooting centerfire cartridges, no 22 conversions for this shoot.
There will be 4 targets shot, 5 rounds on each target, fired from standing position unless you are wheelchair bound. Distance is 7 yards, no more, no less.
Target 1 strong hand one hand
Target 2 weak hand one hand
Target 3 strong hand two hand
Target 4 weak hand two handAlso 15 yards, 25 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards, whatever tickles your giggle.

The double action part is most interesting to me b/c I've considered the DAO 3953, as well as the DA/SA 3913.
Frankly, I think Smith metal frames are the most underrated semi-auto on the market. Too bad they're no longer made. Also, they're fairly cheap at this time.

Sounds good - I'll have to limewire that up.
I've got a govt model that I've added some drop-in upgrades to. Like a flat mainspring housing, beavertail, comander hammer, match trigger, full length wilson guide and group gripper gizmo. Shoots really well.
