Where I live, its common to see packages of chicken feet and other normally undesirable parts.

The last super bowl party I went to featured pig feet stew, with rice beans and gravy. Also a smoked racoon. Not to mention all the local seafood like oysters, shrimp, and fish.

Traditional Chinese food uses the chicken foot as a Dim-Sum an hor dourve that is commonly eaten as a starter for a meal. On a business trip to China in 2003 I tried them ... it was creepy! Tasted like a chicken wing but mostly it was skin and bone, maybe 1 gram of meat on it.

Exactly, they come in a red looking sauce. Back on the old Gunsnet I posted a photo of me eating the chicken feet. They are creepy in texture, but like I said taste like a chicken wing.
