(Reuters) - Glenn Greenwald, the American journalist who published documents leaked by fugitive former U.S. intelligence contractor Edward Snowden, plans to make new revelations "within the next 10 days or so" on secret U.S. surveillance of the Internet.

"The articles we have published so far are a very small part of the revelations that ought to be published," Greenwald on Tuesday told a Brazilian congressional hearing that is investigating the U.S. internet surveillance in Brazil.

"There will certainly be many more revelations on spying by the U.S. government and how they are invading the communications of Brasil and Latin America," he said in Portuguese.

The Rio de Janeiro-based columnist for Britain's Guardian newspaper said he has recruited the help of experts to understand some of the 15,000 to 20,000 classified documents from the National Security Agency that Snowden passed him, some of which are "very long and complex and take time to read."

There's got to be top-level operatives inside the NSA absolutely scared shitless right now.

These classified leaks are an intelligence agency's worst nightmare. The government has no power if it can't keep secrets over everyone else.

Hope Greenwald doesn't board any small airplanes and have a little "accident"...

Of what? There aren't any consequences for violating the constitution in the zero regime

traditionally the NSA never spied on americans unless under serious circumstances. Instead our govt relied on foreign earwigs to do it for them to get around constitutional restrictions. It seems that has long since passed. A leap frog of technology has allowed the NSA to spy on everyone. It has always been an internal squabble. The NSA boys always had an ear on the wall for all government work. It got so bad that the pentagon had to get NSA proof phones and computors as the NSA was claiming a monopoly on ALL GOVERMENT COMMUNICATIONS. IE all phones and computors had to have a special NSA chip. The shit seems to have since fermented beyond all reason. Of course they are scared. They went too far, started using their inside knowledge for partisan political purposes and started illegally sharing their information with other agences within the justice department. Full 24/7 evesdropping without a warrent. We should all be concerned. Congress so far seems to have failed to grasp the true danger. Time will tell.

Damn it, we all, everyone who loves this country and believes in what it WAS FOUNDED ON, needs to be in communication, knowing eachother OFF OF the net. They could come for most any of us and no one would ever know.....If that is what it comes too.

We will all know when it starts. To get us all will take a few hundred years one at a time.

It will happen when either the economic collapse they're fomenting comes about, or when the next world war starts because of said impending economic collapse, thus bringing it on. In either case, rioting in the inner cities will begin, martial law will be declared to "return order to the streets". Returning order to the streets means keeping the feral animals contained to their slums while the mass roundups in the suburbs commence.

I am starting to think they may employ foreigners aka Russians to do the job as Americans in the services may have a conscience about it. The regime gets a mess of foreign english speakers in US uniform with US weapons and vehicles and some Americans may have issues about defending themselves from what appear to be US forces. Either way, when someone tries to take over your country, as in parking their armour on your lawn and shooting at you and your friends and family and rounding them all up in fema camps I think it's a good idea to fight them.
