Last year I bought this book and have read it a few times. It changed a LOT of how I looked at "being prepared". It is a book written by a man who lived through the Argentinian Financial Meltdown in 1989. It was as bad as a plague, a war, invasian, fallout, famine, drought,... just about as bad as it gets. There was no food, rampant crime, disease, very little water, corruption, home invasions, etc. His take on the things people did right and the things people did wrong was eye opening. He goes over how to avoid getting hurt, staying out of trouble, how and how not to get food and water, basic prepping supplies and an odd list of things that became extremely valuable. I highly recommend it as a common sense take on prepping.

I've read that guys blog before. It is very telling and very down to earth. No ".30-06 on the water tower" type of stupid ass tough guy advice.
