I HAVE A SKS NORINCO S.N. 21001262 . CAN YOU TELL ME THE YEAR MODEL AND IF IT HAS THE SPRING BEHIND THE FIRING PIN ! THANKS

don't know the date but i'm pretty sure its going to have the spring behind the firing pin.

1977 would be for serial numbers 21 million through 22 million. It should have the spike bayonet on it.
Here's my 1963 Chinese (Jianshe arsenal) in a Vietnam jungle stock, notice the side mounted swivel.

CaptMax, did you change your spike out to a blade on the sks? by the way, nice!!

No silentkilla, the early Chinese SKS's had the blade, the later types had the spike.

i have never seen a norinco that old that it had the blade. nor did i know they use to come with it other than the spiker. thanks for the info!
