SS109 Privi from Palmetto on the way

I couldn't help myself again. Had to order a case of this - the price is just too good for this. It shoot really well in my AR's and I'm betting that my Mini 14 will like it too. The Hot Shot that I've got is magnetic (bullets) and so is the penetrator round.

From the looks of the pics at Palmetto - this will be too. This is my first choice of ammo to stock up on for my 5.56 cal guns.

I noticed that they're $10 higher in price than AIM, but $8 less in shipping. A few more paychecks and I may be in the market for a little more. If AIM is sold out, this will be a good backup plan.

Arrived! And its good stuff. I checked the bullets and they're magnetic, so these have the penetrator bullets. They are labeled S855. 62 grain fmj boat tail with green tips.

They look identical to the older Hot Shot Privi SS019 that I have - but th head stamp is different. Both have the red sealant on the crimped primers.

If I had the coin, I'd order another case....

Have you seen the new PMC X-tac that is selling for $299 per 1k right now? Is it comparable to the prvi M855?

Well 32 cents a round is better than it's been for a while. IMO ammo will drop as the ability of people to buy collapses. You might not want to over stock just yet.

Thanks Schuetzenman. Kind of what I have been doing. A couple weeks ago it was selling for $319 and now $299. Just made me nervous as I see Palmetto has 4-5 delay of orders they posted today due to volume of orders.
